Things I came to know about Saumya:
She’s very smart. She knows her work well and can give really good feedback. And obviously, if you know your stuff well, you can suggest ideas around it.
She doesn’t like talking to people to convince them, especially in sales-related roles.
She mostly gets bad dreams.
She has only one friend in Navi Mumbai. He likes her, but Saumya doesn’t like him. It’s more of a superficial friendship.
She went through depression and had anxiety when she moved to Navi Mumbai. She had a boyfriend during her MBA, but they broke up because he was too cold and avoidant.
She likes animals more than people.
Her expectations from a relationship:
Someone who understands her. She’s easy to understand, and people can read her well.
A partner who shows empathy, care, and emotional maturity.
It shouldn’t feel like a 1v1 situation where one has more authority or power over the other.
She doesn’t like when someone takes the other person for granted.
She values genuine efforts, selflessness, and understanding - all without ego.
Special moments from this week:
The dream she shared in the morning. I really liked that entire conversation.
The way she helped improve Niharikaa’s website, it truly helped me and also gave me a better understanding of her.
Our whole conversation around relationships. She spoke very openly, and it felt really nice.
The way she talked about different categories of guys and I know she took a dig at me for not putting in much effort or not making a move even after many hints. :P
Thoughts:
This was one of the best weeks. We worked together on a project and had deep conversations about relationships and friendships.
One of the highlights was her dream. I really liked how she directly sent an email about it in the morning. It was just so nice.
She also shared the kind of people she likes when it comes to relationships. I feel like I fit that description perfectly, but let’s see.
I hope our conversations continue like this. :)
